  • Move garden furniture, pots and toys off the lawn and out of the beds
  • Unlock side gates, since most visits do not need you to be home
  • Say whether you want debris hauled away or bagged and left at the kerb
  • Mark anything you do not want cut back, since dormant perennials are hard to identify in November
