Work we do not take on
Ten kinds of work we do not take on, each with the sort of contractor who does.

| Pools and spas | A pool service company. Pool equipment sits under a separate licence from ours. |
| Appliance repair | An appliance repair specialist, or the manufacturer if the unit is under warranty. |
| Pest control | A licensed pest control operator. Termite work in particular requires a state licence we do not hold. |
| Asbestos abatement | A certified asbestos abatement contractor. If we find suspected asbestos mid-job we stop work and tell you. |
| Tree removal | A certified arborist. If a tree is on your roof, call the arborist first and us second. |
| Solar installation | A solar installer. We will happily work around an existing array on a roof job. |
| Garage door springs | A garage door specialist. Torsion springs are genuinely dangerous without the right tools. |
| Well pumps | A well and pump contractor. We do work on the plumbing downstream of the pressure tank. |
| Commercial and industrial work | A commercial general contractor. We are residential only, up to four units. |
